My how this month has flown. One minute it was the beginning and suddenly we are looking at the end of the financial year again - and for me yet another birthday. Oh dear. Time flies by far too quickly.
So for this month, what have I been doing you might ask. Well . . . . let me think.
There have been more customer quilts. These are just delightful.

This one even has kangaroos jumping across the quilt. So cute and very appropriate given the fabrics used in the quilt. The backing is boomerangs!! Simply gorgeous.
Here's a close up of the kangaroo.
I have even managed to finish a couple of my own. The first has been in the planning stages for quite some time, but was delayed because I was waiting on the aqua fabric to use as the background. This one is called Awash and I love the new quilting pattern that was used - Bumpy Spirals.
And then there is the Shortcake quilt (pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew) that the quilting group are doing. I have to admit that as I was making the blocks I was really not happy with the quilt, but as it has gone together I have grown to love it. It is so bright, so I called this quilt Carnival.
Well, that's all for now. Who knows what the next month will bring.
Happy quilting everyone.
