Well, I having finally decided to do something about all my spare time and have ordered Ruby II - a Gammill Statler machine and she is going to be delivered shortly. Panic stations, because my sewing area looks a mess, so a little revamping is required.
While that sounds very non threatening, after two days of moving everything to the other side of the garage (where the car is usually parked) I decided to do a little painting. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I could have saved myself considerable stress and numerous paint covered tops. But having said that, I am very pleased with the end result. Might add, the area will never be this clean and tidy again.

I had the old carpet and lino pieces removed and now have a wonderful clean looking laminate floor. My wonderful partner spent nearly two days putting all the cupboards back into position. Just as well I have him, I would never have been able to do it myself. My big job was to "supervise" and then put all the fabrics back into the cupboards. Oh what a job!!!
Love the photos on the wall. Even better is the fact that two of them I took myself and had them mounted on canvas.
Well, just a few more days and Ruby will be here. Can't wait!!!
