So, continuing on from the last post, below is another quilt by Lynda. The pattern is Swell by Camille Roskelley in her book Simply Retro. Just love the colours in this.
The quilting pattern is Bumpy Spirals and gives lovely movement to the quilt.
Just so you don't think I don't do anything - I also completed the same pattern, but of course in very different colours. I called mine Autumn Colours and quilted it with Too Much Bubbly. I am so thrilled with it.
Should probably also share my efforts from the Me and My Sister class in Sydney back in July. This one is quilted with Dragonflies & Flowers - so appropriate for this quilt - the fabrics are just gorgeous aren't they. It is now being enjoyed by a very lucky granddaughter.
My other finish was Summer Sailing. This has been cut out and started for quite a few months but for some reason I put it aside. I think I might have had an issue with some of my points. When I got over my "block", the quilt went together really well. The pattern is Puddle Jumping by Thimbleblossoms and the fabric used is Day Sail by Bonnie & Camille for Moda. The quilting pattern is Swirls Galore.
And just one more customer quilt. Love the Baptist Fan quilting on this lovely yellow and blue quilt. It was so very well made and I know she was thrilled to pieces with the finish.
And yes there is still more - but I will save that till next time.
Happy quilting.
