Have been working very hard this week. Wanted to get the bag of quilts finished that my friend had left for me. I am sure it was a magic bag. Every time I thought I only had two quilts left, I would find extra quilts in the bag. But each and every one was gorgeous.
Isn't this a lovely fresh looking quilt. The pattern is Goodnight Irene and the fabric is Pink Lemonade Bali prints. The colours aren't ones I would choose but I absolutely love the finished product. I'm tempted to go out and buy some pretty pink fabrics - maybe a quilt for my granddaughter.

I have made the same pattern. Thought I would share it just to show how different the quilts look in different colours. We do sometimes make the same quilts but we tend to choose very different colours in our fabrics.
Well, will share the rest of the quilts from the "magic bag" of quilts another day.
